Where the numbers come from
Every module that binds time publishes its hours itself. Planning collects what is there — if a module is missing, its line is missing and the calculation still runs. The overview lists which sources were found.
Free means target minus absence minus planned
Target hours from the working-time model, minus approved absences and public holidays, minus what is already booked in shifts, projects and work orders. Sales opportunities are NEVER subtracted — they sit alongside as a second bar. A 40 % opportunity is not half a booking, it is a risk.
When the number is wrong
Temporary staff, subcontractors, someone booked in a shift AND a project: that is what overrides are for. A positive override adds capacity, a negative one removes it. Without that option every capacity calculation is a lie.
Who may see what
Company-wide capacity and per-person capacity are TWO separate permissions. Whoever may see that the company has 62 hours free does not thereby see who took how many vacation days.
