What you do here

Use „New delivery confirmation“ to link a transport order and record who accepted the shipment, when and where. You pick the status (Delivered, Partial, Refused or Damaged), let the recipient sign and attach photos as evidence. Drivers create the proof right on site – this works offline too and syncs later.

Tips

The „Issues“ tab shows refused, damaged and partial deliveries at a glance – ideal for dispatch follow-up. For „Damaged“ always photograph the affected goods and note anything unusual in the note field. Drivers may create confirmations without being able to edit other people’s records.

Legal requirements

For cross-border road transport the CMR Convention applies: the proof of delivery must be traceable to its CMR consignment note – enter the CMR consignment note number in the „CMR consignment note“ field. Record „who“ delivered: assign the delivering driver via the „Driver“ field – in case of dispute (loss, damage, late delivery) this is the evidence of the person who carried out the delivery. The recipient’s signature and the photos serve as proof of delivery: they document handover, condition and time of the goods. Retain proofs of delivery together with the consignment note reference, signature and photos for as long as the commercial and tax retention periods and any limitation periods for claims under the carriage contract require (usually several years); do not delete records prematurely.
